Boehly now open to selling £100,000 p/w winger to Tottenham Hotspur

By Mehdi Gokal -

Tottenham were linked with a move to Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech in the summer.

According to Dutch newspaper Algemeen Dagblad, Spurs’ interest was real and even though nothing materialised in the summer, the report suggests that a winter move could be on if Spurs remain interested in the winger.

90min have reported that new Chelsea owner Todd Boehly is reportedly willing to sell the former Ajax star.

The report suggests that Chelsea are willing to loan him out in January but would prefer a permanent deal. With Ivan Perisic and Dejan Kulusevski both suffering injuries this season, signing another winger in January wouldn’t be a bad idea for Conte and Paratici.

The Morrocan international made a name for himself during his time at Ajax but the £100,000 per week has failed to make an impact at Chelsea. The didn’t get to play many minutes under Thomas Tuchel and has failed to impress Graham Potter either.

Especially since Boehly allegedly expressed interested in buying Spurs and Levy told him to get lost.

Let’s take one of our direct competitor’s s*** and allow them to reinvest in a better player. Are you sure Hitchen didn’t just go on hols and come back with a tan and an accent? Explains Royal.
