Ange has been a breath of fresh air for Tottenham since taking over in the summer.
Within a brief period, he has completely transformed Spurs, turning them into an exciting team who are playing some of the finest football in the league.
His infectious charisma has lifted the atmosphere around the club and has lifted the players’ form with every single player putting on consistently solid performances for him.
Under Postecoglou’s leadership, Spurs started off the season on a scintillating 10-game unbeaten streak, winning eight and drawing two.
However, an injury crisis momentarily derailed their momentum, resulting in a winless streak of five games.
But they have returned to winning ways with back to back wins over Newcastle and Nottingham Forest.
His extraordinary impact has from other clubs, in particular one club is being mentioned as a potential future recruiter of the former Celtic manager.
The speculation about Postecoglou taking over Manchester City after Pep Guardiola’s eventual departure from the Etihad is gaining momentum, and the discussions have been further fueled after Gary Neville spoke about it last week.
Spurs fans are not happy with their manager already being linked away and pundit Michael Bridges has now expressed his disappointment upon hearing the links.
Speaking on the Optus Sport Football Podcast, he said:
“I mentioned it three weeks prior that Ange Postecoglou would’ve been catching the eye of the City group, and now Gary Neville has come out with those quotes and it’s getting traction, anyone getting Ange linked with Man City would be tremendously delighted, but as a Spurs man, I’m gutted,”
“For Gary Neville to say it it is getting a lot of traction in the UK, and I’m sure Ange would be thrilled about it, but he always likes to finish his projects, and his project is Spurs.”

It is no surprise that Ange is already being spoken of in the same conversation as Manchester City.
He has proven to be an outstanding manager, with a style of play that aligns with the way City want to play.
And it is not going to be a surprise if other top clubs also express their interest in hiring him.
That being said, Ange is known for working on projects and Spurs is the project he has taken up just now.
It is very unlikely that he will leave the club in the middle having started off so well and having created such a strong bond with the fans already.
