South American star has received offers from clubs including “Conte’s Tottenham”

By Saikat -

Atlético Madrid midfielder Rodrigo De Paul has been linked with a move away from the Spanish club this summer.

According to a report from Tutto Mercato Web, the Argentine international has received “several offers” from multiple European clubs but the 28-year-old has turned them down and he wants to stay in the Spanish capital next season.

The report further adds that the player has received offers from Fiorentina and “Conte’s Tottenham” as well.

The Premier League side recently signed a quality defensive midfielder in Yves Bissouma but it is no secret that they will have to add more composure and quality at the middle of the park. The likes of Tanguy Ndombele and Harry Winks have been linked with moves away and Antonio Conte will have to bring in a proper alternative before the transfer window closes.

The 28-year-old Argentine international has developed into one of the most reliable central midfielders across Europe and he would be a quality addition.

De Paul is an excellent passer and his ability to carry the ball forward and the tendency to work hard out of position will add a new dimension to Conte’s midfield.

Furthermore, the Argentine is an expert set-piece taker and his ability to execute a final pass will also be an asset for the Londoners.

The midfielder helped Argentina win the Copa America recently, producing a spectacular performance in the finals against Brazil. He also guided Atletico Madrid to a top-three finish in La Liga last season.

That said, he is keen on staying at the Spanish club and it remains to be seen whether Tottenham can change his mind in the coming weeks now.

So its a report from Tutto Malarkey not the player himself. probably part of the Paratici scattergun approach.

He would be an excellent addition and provide one of the two missing parts of our squad along with a top CB.Could we tempt him with a move if,like Bastoni he doesn’t want to leave his adopted country.Over to you Paratici.
