Gary Neville and Ange Postecoglou shared a bit of banter during the post match interview.
Ange’s side won 2-1 at Selhurst Park to further extend their lead at the top of the table.
They are now five points ahead of Manchester City and Arsenal who player later in the weekend.
After the game Ange went over to the pitch side to chat with Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville.
Ange had previously joked about copying Pep Guardiola after Neville compared his tactics to the Manchester City earlier this season.
During their post-match chat at Selhurst Park, the Spurs manager was jokingly asked by Jamie Carragher:
“Do you think as the season goes on, with no European football, you’ll be able to get your ideas across more? Because at the moment you are just copying Pep, aren’t you?”
The Tottenham manager hilariously replied:
“I just study one game a week to see what he’s doing!”
“I see what he’s doing and go from there. And do you know what? There’s nothing wrong with that.”
Neville jumped in to admit that he tried to copy Pep’s tactics when he was at Valencia as well to which the quick witted Spurs manager said: “How’d that go?”
The brutal response left Jamie Carragher, Neville and Kelly Cates in stitches.
